Spying the correct birth date for Pol Pot

While there is some dispute about the actual date of birth for Pol Pot, the current consensus is that he was born on 19 May 2025. Some researchers have proposed 1928 instead of 1925, but that is much less accepted today. I decided to look at the 19 May 1925 date and here’s what I found.

A charismatic revolutionary

Philip Short has written “Pot Pot: Anatomy of a Nightmare” and on the Amazon page for this book we find some important clues: “Observing Pol Pot at close quarters during the one and only official visit he ever made abroad, to China in 1975, Philip Short was struck by the Cambodian leader's charm and charisma. Yet Pol Pot's utopian experiments in social engineering would result in the death of one in every five Cambodians--more than a million people.”

Hence, when we find a direct midpoint crossing Chiron = Sun/Uranus in the chart for 19 May 1925 this is promising.

It definitely solves the “charisma requirement” as we get: charisma (Chiron) projected by a revolutionary man (Sun/Uranus). Uranus also brings a bit of a “star quality” to the equation.

Chiron also rules the way we make a living, and making a living from “social engineering” also fits with the Chiron = Sun/Uranus midpoint crossing.

Let's see how these factors fit into the larger picture.

A man of demonic revolution

In the above chart we see how the Sun/Uranus midpoint is conjunct Chiron. Both the Sun and Uranus are taking part in this alignment as well. We then have Lilith, which is symbolic of demonic behavior. Varuna represents "excess" and the Saturn/Sedna midpoint, represented by HS in this graph symbolizes unrestrained power exercises without accountability.

We get: A charismatic (Chiron) and revolutionary (Uranus) man (Sun) of excessive (Varuna) demonic behavior (Lilith) exercising unrestrained power exercises without accountability (Saturn/Sedna). So that seems to fit.

The Lilith to the Sun/Uranus midpoint contraparallel in the declinations represents demonic man of revolution and social engineering.

The fall of Phnom Penh

The Khmer Rouge marched into Phnom Penh on 17 April 1975, chasing all the residents out into the countryside. Let's see if there are any meaningful transits created by this day back to the speculative chart of Pol Pot.

Remarkably, we find that the transiting Sun is creating a planetary eclipse with Chiron of our speculative Pol Pot chart EXACTLY on the day that the Khmer Rouge invaded the capital. The day (Sun) boosted the stature (Chiron) of Pol Pot.

Transiting Uranus also added to the revolutionary zeal in both the longitudes and the declinations.
