The world could have ended one day in late September 1983, except for a Soviet military officer’s willingness to disregard standing orders.

Thanks to Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Petrov, we can now read about the 1983 Soviet nuclear false alarm incident on Wikipedia: “Petrov's responsibilities included observing the satellite early-warning network and notifying his superiors of any impending nuclear missile attack against the Soviet Union. If notification was received from the early-warning systems that inbound missiles had been detected, the Soviet Union's strategy was an immediate and compulsory nuclear counter-attack against the United States, specified in the doctrine of mutual assured destruction.”

However, Petrov suspected the signals from the Soviet missile warning system were false and decided to wait for corroborating evidence, rather than passing the warning up the chain of command.

He thereby prevented a full-scale nuclear war.

On the day the Soviet lieutenant colonel saved the world, there was a Jupiter-Uranus planetary eclipse in the sky – the two planets were both conjunct and parallel each other. This translates as world (Uranus) peace (Jupiter), but also as successful (Jupiter) individuation (Uranus).

And amazingly, this energy connected with Petrov’s logic (Pallas) and wisdom (Jupiter) that are aspecting each other in his natal chart.
