Ingo Swann was a well-known psychic whose remote viewing skills were employed by both the Stanford Research Institute and the CIA. Born in Telluride, Colorado, he started having out-of-body experience at the age of three, during a tonsil operation.

He began volunteering in parapsychology research at the age of 37 and proposed the idea of Controlled Remote Viewing.

He was contacted by the CIA and his work involved the Stargate Project.
