Political Corruption – Uranus-Sedna conjunction in Gemini: War with Russia?

We’re only years into the Age of Aquarius when on May 25 Uranus and Sedna, boosted by the Sun, join in a Gemini conjunction.

Uranus represents politics, fame, technology, the internet, what is global, freedom and thrill seeking – Sedna’s only positive interpretation is “integrity on behalf of the tribe,” and the rest is really nasty.

This is a single-pass conjunction – even if the two planets come close to one another again in February 2027 when they are both in retrograde motion.

In astrology, something not happening can be as powerful as something happening.

What IS happening is we have two-faced and vacillating (Gemini) politicians (Uranus) showing their total lack of conscience (Sedna) while using their glitz, fame and technology (Uranus) to deceive and steal wealth (Sedna).

Data centres are heavy users of water and electricity

They have now completely forgotten about the greenhouse gases they were flying high on before – today it’s all about AI data centers. It’s still an escape from reality, but the propellant has changed. They forgot about their constituents and countries a long time ago.

Reality remains, but it’s for the common man to deal with.

On a soul level, the available redemption comes from individuation (Uranus) through integrity (Sedna) and non-duality as well as travel into the underworld (Gemini). It’s a shamanistic direct-experience of processing the madness around us, no magic mushrooms or LSD required.

Global tension is building around the Israel-Iran conflict and the inflamed Europe-Ukraine-Russia situation. “Reality” really is this crazy. Good luck to all.

As a distraction, let’s see if there’s any Sedna-Uranus rattle-and-shake on the cards for some of our favorite power structures. Perhaps the Sun will shine a healing light?

Trump's Second Term

The Sun - as well as the Sedna-Uranus conjunction, will highlight power dynamics.

The Sun-Uranus (limelit and famous politician) trine to his Sun-Pluto (powerful and obsessive person) conjunction should be like music to Trump's ears – his problem is that Sedna-Uranus could bring an unsettling (Uranus) being-held-to-account process (Sedna). Likewise, Sun-Uranus is contraparallel to his Sun-Lilith in the declinations.

The excessive energies held in his Pluto and Lilith ought to be shaken loose at some point – perhaps this is it? Uranus can herald liberation, rebellion and freedom.

The European Union

Notice the quincunx between Jupiter and Sedna in the image below at 25.9 degrees - it is not affected here, but it signifies progress (Jupiter) from corruption, lack of conscience and lies (Sedna) or from integrity (Sedna). Which one do you think applies?

The European Union is pervasive and power hungry

The Sedna-Uranus conjunction forms key aspects with the energetic backbone of the EU. We have a financial (Neptune and Pluto) and political (Uranus) organization (Sun) that promotes powerful (Pluto) idealistic (Vesta) belief systems (Moon) and seeks peace and long-term security (Neptune). A key problem with the EU is the natal Sedna-Jupiter quincunx that you can also see represented in this chart… it hints at progress intermingled with corruption and lack of conscience, but is not affected by this transit. The question is if the light (Sun) of political (Uranus) integrity (Sedna) will shake the EU’s foundations, which already shows signs of cracking, into shape. The downside of any Sedna-enhanced immoral advantage is there’s always payback.

NATO

Is NATO promoting peace or war?

While the “love of war” planetary eclipse in NATO’s birth chart isn’t directly affected by the upcoming conjunction, we have a rather unsavory alignment that is.

In the NATO chart we find a conjuncted Fortress with a Saturn-Lilith conjunction and Jupiter forming the base plate and Varuna-Juno at the top. This is a problematic alignment.

We have a Fallen Angel (Saturn-Jupiter quincunx) that is not only demonic (Lilith in the role of the denied and festering feminine) and deceptive (Saturn and Juno), but also excessive (Varuna).

Key interpretations of the Saturn-Jupiter quincunx include "broken promises" and "tragic expansion". NATO has in the name of “freedom, democracy and peace” expanded its territory towards Russia to the extent that a war between Russia and the European member states is becoming increasingly likely. Russia, who when asking to join NATO was refused, has unstoppable missiles that can also be armed with nukes.

Is this really what Europe wants? The light (Sun) of political and global (Uranus) integrity (Sedna) is now asking that question.
